Ryouta Mitarai – makasetekure!

Hello, Comun again. You might remember me from the now sadly innacurate Junko Enoshima – Makasetekure!. Today I’m back for another 任せてくれ!/ お名前は?and once again it’s a DanganRonpa one. This season brought us the DanganRonpa 3 anime to give closure to the Kibougamine saga before the main series can move on to something else. Of course, this being DanganRonpa, it carries the series brand of insane design choices innovation with it having two separate animes airing on the same season and intercommunicating with each other.

While 未来編 (mi.rai.hen; Future Volume, officially known in the West as Side:Future) and 絶望編 (zetsu.bou.hen; Despair Volume, officially Side:Despair) have fairly different casts, the two share a few characters and I’m here to talk about the arguably most important of them: 超高校級のアニメーター(chou.kou.kou.kyuu.no.animeetaa; Super High School Level Animator) 御手洗 (mi.ta.rai) 亮太 (ryou.ta). If your NG Action is reading spoilers, we recommend you to have watched up to until the 11th episode of each Side.

Ruby, Hanamaru and Yoshiko – onamae wa?

Hello, Kyra here! This is Onamae wa? #22, our weekly encounter where we pick Anime character’s names and look for anything interesting in them.

When Love Live! Sunshine!! was first announced I thought it’d hardly surpass the first iteration of the series but oh boy, I’m happy to have been wrong. Of course entering into subjective area here, but so far enjoying the daily struggle of Chika and friends a lot! So much that I decided to cover not only one girl, but all the nine members of Aqours.

This week we will explore 黒澤(kuro.sawa) ルビィ(rubii), 国木田(kuni.ki.da) 花丸(hana.maru) and 津島(tsu.shima) 善子(yoshi.ko), the adorable 一年生達(ichi.nen.sei.tachi; first year students) trio of Love Live! Sunshine!!, a school Idol anime currently airing in Summer 2016. According to Yoshiko Yohane, it is recommended to have watched up to Episode 10 to avoid becoming a little demon affected by cursed spoilers.

Yuki Kurihara and Shinya Momotsuki – onamae wa?

Hello, Kyra here! This is Onamae wa? #21, our weekly encounter where we pick Anime character’s names and look for anything interesting in them. This was supposed to come two days ago, so I apologize for the delay.

I almost didn’t pick this show because its premise seemed way too generic but I was surprised by how well presented it is. On top of being overly cute, it is very funny and there are so many great memefaces! Yeah, I like memefaces. Even more when they are cute memefaces.

Our guests today are 栗原(kuri.hara)雪(yuki) and 桃月(momo.tsuki)心也(shin.ya), the love-dovey couple from Momokuri, a love-comedy currently re-airing in Summer 2016. Due to the nature of this relationship, it is recommended to have watched up to Episode 10 (or 20 if you count them separated) to avoid the cutest spoiler ever.
